USEA Recognized Heritage Park Horse Trials
July 17-18, 2010
MACTA is pleased to host one USEA recognized horse trial each year. Heritage Park Horse Trials celebrates its 30th Anniversary event in 2010.
We offer horse trial divisions from Starter Novice through I/P. We will also be offering
combined tests for Starter Novice through Intermediate.
Not long ago all of our cross-country courses were rebuilt. Each year new fences are
added to all of our cross-country courses and new tracks are offered to riders at our
recognized horse trial, so that every level is presented with different questions each year.
For the horse trial in July, two starter novice divisions will be offered. StarterNovice A - will ride USEA BN Test A & splash through water
Starter Novice B - will ride Intro test B & does not splash through water
The cross-country fences for this division are 2’ or less, and are fun
and inviting to both horse and rider.
Ride Times for IP, P, PT, T Divisions
This schedule will differ from what is on the StartBox website for these levels as there are several people with multiple rides and Beth was not able to manipulate the times in the software program we're using for these divisions.
MACTA also hosts numerous schooling shows throughout the season. Competitors can choose from USDF dressage tests through First Level, Combined Tests through Preliminary and Horse Trials from starter through Preliminary.
Heritage Park is located at 168th Street & Pflumm Road in Olathe, Kansas. The Mid-America Combined Training Association works in conjunction with the Johnson County Parks Department to maintain the equestrian facility at this venue.
Heritage Park offers Starter through Preliminary Level cross country courses. The courses were designed by Roger Haller and are changed frequently. Funds raised from schooling shows and cross-country schooling days permit MACTA to build new fences each year.
